Python Software Engineers | London (Hybrid) | Fintech Mid - Senior x 3 Salary up to £130,000 Options Looking for your next challenge in a fast-moving, product-led engineering team? We're hiring multiple Python Software Engineers to help evolve the backend systems behind a growing fintech platform (Series C), made up of ex Barclays, BlueCrest and Blackrock. You'll work with a modern Python stack (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic) to build scalable APIs, design reliable backend architecture, and ship clean, production-grade code that makes a real difference for users. This is a great role for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems, values ownership, and wants to be part of a collaborative team where engineering is core to the business. What you'll do: • Design and build backend APIs and services using Python 3 • Create clean, scalable systems that power the platform and internal tools • Collaborate with product and ops to deliver robust, user-focused solutions • Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and system architecture Tech Stack: Python 3, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pandas/NumPy PostgreSQL, MySQL GitLab CI/CD, Docker (Nice to have): GCP, Memcache) What we're looking for: 4 years of professional Python experience Strong with REST APIs, async patterns, and modern Python libraries Confident working with SQL and relational DBs at scale Experience in high-paced environments (SaaS or fintech preferred) Pragmatic mindset, clean code, clear thinking, and delivery focus Why join?
