Site Manager / Engineer (Groundworks)

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Engineer for a project in Hull. This will be starting within the next 1 to 2 weeks, so ideally we need someone who can start within this time frame. You'll be working for a civils and groundworks sub-contractor and relevant experience would be preferred. Duties: * Supervise and coordinate site activities for all groundworks and civils operations. * ​​​​​​​Manage a team of groundworkers and plant operatives to ensure safe, efficient delivery. * ​​​​​​​Provide accurate setting out for drainage, foundations, 278 works, kerbs, etc. * ​​​​​​​Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, delivering daily briefings and ensuring RAMS are followed. * ​​​​​​​Conduct quality checks and ensure work is delivered to spec and within tolerances. * ​​​​​​​Liaise with main contractor, other subcontractors, and the design team to coordinate works and resolve issues * ​​​​​​​Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project/Contracts Manager. * ​​​​​​​Record as-built data and contribute to QA documentation and handover information.
