Estimator – Roofing & Cladding Location: Office-based (full-time) Industry: Roofing & Cladding Salary: Competitive, based on experience I’m working with a well-established roofing and cladding contractor who are looking to add an experienced Estimator to their commercial team. This is a full-time, office-based position offering long-term stability and progression within a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for roofing and cladding packages * Review tender documents and specifications * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations * Conduct material take-offs and quantify labour requirements * Analyse drawings, bills of quantities, and other project documentation * Identify risks, value engineering options, and propose cost-effective solutions * Prepare and submit tenders in line with client deadlines * Attend pre- and post-tender meetings when required * Work closely with the commercial, design, and project delivery teams Requirements: * Minimum of 3 years’ estimating experience within the construction industry * Proven background working specifically within the roofing and cladding sector * Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications * Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy * Confident communicator with the ability to work to deadlines * Fully proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with estimating software preferred This is a great opportunity for an experienced Estimator looking to take the next step in their career within a reputable and growing business.
