The team is growing and because of this they're looking to appoint an Estimator to join them on their journey. In this role, as the Estimator you will: Support the generation of profitable tenders for authorization and submission To estimate the costs of projects to meet or exceed customers' requirements To determine contractual, financial, technical, and operational risks Find opportunities to minimize risk and maximize gross profit To support the fulfilment of the pipeline of contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while maximizing gross profit Be dealing with 3 or 4 live projects at any given timeFor the role, they are looking for: Experience in working for a Tier 1 or 2 contractor as well as a SME Be contractually astute. (Contracts are usually JCT and the successful applicant must have a complete understanding of how the contract works.) Have a sound knowledge and be experienced in payment terms, payment notices, contract protocol and matters associated with delays and extensions of time Be skilled in subcontract procurement and understand the importance of this process.
