Air Conditioning Engineer | Loughborough LE11 | Full Time, Permanent | £37,000 - £42,000 per annum DOE Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for your next challenge? Our client is a well-established company operating nationwide, based in Loughborough. They are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning installation engineer who has considerable knowledge of installing and working on air conditioning systems, such as VRF/VRV multi-split and split systems for their commercial clients, such as Universities, hospitality, commercial offices, retail, leisure, and residential, to work nationwide. You'll be joining a supportive team that values quality workmanship and offers real progression opportunities. Please note- Normal working days are Monday to Friday, with occasional travel and overnight stays. Weekend and out-of-hours work may be required, with overtime paid up to double time. Are you the right person for the job? Must be open to travel, including occasional overnight stays, depending on project needs Experienced Air conditioning engineer, with an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Refrigeration & Air conditioning. You will need to be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant High level of interpersonal skills - good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports Quality workmanship and pride in work are a must Confident in your own skills and abilities Flexible and willing to work on a range of mechanical systems (training provided if needed) Good problem-solving skills and a positive, “can-do” attitude Electrical knowledge is a bonus, especially if you can read wiring diagrams and test circuits Full UK driving licence required What will your role look like? Complete installation of VRF/VRV, multi-split and split systems, including pipework, wiring, mounting, brazing, condensate management, etc Experienced and time served in installing and working on a wide variety of air conditioning VRF/VRV and split systems Commission of VRF/VRV, multi-split and split air conditioning systems Ability to read drawings, schematics, and follow technical drawings Liaise closely with the project teams and company directors on a day-to-day basis Coordinate and control installations on site to ensure smooth delivery Where required, liaise closely with the client to maintain stakeholder relationships Work in a safe and controlled manner following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client-specific site requirements What can you expect in return? 21 days' holiday in addition to the normal statutory holidays Travel and required overnight accommodation will be paid for Auto-enrolment pension scheme with the option to opt out Company van for personal use Overtime and double-time available Career prospects for the right candidate On-site parking What's next?
