Space Planning Analyst - Retail

Position: Space Planning Analyst - RETAILLocation: BoltonWe are looking for a Space Planning Analyst to support design, build and maintain merchandise planograms (POGs). The main responsibility is to ensure planograms are accurately reflected based on assortment decisions and are consistent with the category strategy, visual merchandising standards and optimization projects.Job Responsibilities:- Monitor and ensure timely delivery of tasks assigned within the unit- Motivate, guide and assist team members and assess performance and evaluation- Responsible in Assortment & Space Optimization - Create and maintain planograms for categories assigned, according to merchandising and display guidelines, with aim to improve overall sales productivity and profitability, maximize on shelf availability and enhance shoppers' experience through improved product navigation- Provide Category Assessment and Assortment Optimization Report- Provide Category Review data from pertinent sources- Evaluate category performance by formats by stores- Update Product Image Library- Maintain good communication with all departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless executions of all initiatives, projects and planogram roll out- Liaise with key business partners in evaluating category performance, trend opportunity and enhanced display solutions- Participate in annual category reviews with Category Managers by providing analytical insights and support merchandising standardsQualifications: - Degree in any discipline. Diploma holders with related experience may also apply- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in the retail industry- Strong analytical skills and ability to articulate qualitative skills in analyzing numbers.
