Production Coordinator - Lazy Pants

Position: Production Coordinator - Lazy Pants Location: Westmount - MontrealLazy Pants is looking for a sharp, mid-level professional with hands-on Costco experience to join our team and help manage the fast-moving pieces between our retail partner, factory, and internal departments. This isn't your average coordinator role—it's a mix of production savvy, logistics know-how, and confident decision-making.Who you are:- You've worked with Costco (Canada, USA, International) and you understand how to speak their language.- You're proactive, detail-obsessed, and not afraid to take charge.- You know how to get things done—diplomatically but directly.- You have a strong work ethic and don't mind stepping up after hours when needed.- You can read between the lines of emails, anticipate issues, and course-correct before problems arise.- You thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and follow up relentlessly—internally and externally.- You may not know everything yet—but you're eager to learn and you're unshakably reliable.What you'll be doing:- Be the liaison between Lazy Pants and Costco, as well as between us and our factory.- Ensure all communication with the factory is accurate, clear, and complete to prevent costly delays.- Own the timing and action calendar and keep every piece of the production process moving—on time and on spec.- Follow up on lab dips, bulk fabric, fit samples, shipping samples, prints, approvals, and more.- Oversee the shipment process from A to Z: bookings, sample approvals, shipping docs, manifest, BOLs, billing.- Work closely with Linda (you'll need strong logistics understanding to do this well).- Help negotiate rates and optimize shipping with truckers, ocean and air carriers.- Stay current on Vendor Manuals and Compliance standards.- Keep Costco and internal stakeholders updated on status and flag any risks early.Must-have experience:- Direct experience working with Costco.- Working knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.- Familiarity with garment testing and construction.- Experience coordinating with factories, freight partners, and retailers.Nice-to-haves:- Knowledge of each department's function within a fashion/apparel business.- Experience handling international shipments and customs requirements.To apply, please send your resume to Christina Monaco at christina.monaco@quantum.ca.CNESST permit numbers: AP-2000158 & AR-2000157
