My client, an innovative, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing team of specialist consultants, based near to the lively, industrial city of Newport, South Wales. Essential Criteria: A Degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or similar Experience of producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and flood mitigation reports Working knowledge of conducting flood modelling surveys An understanding of how to interpret flood risk data, using GIS software packages Experience of presenting flood risk information to clients and other stakeholders It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Flood Risk Consultant to possess the following: Strong analytical skills and technical-mindedness Excellent standard of written English, particularly when applied to report writing Experience of establishing and building stakeholder relations In your varied new role of Flood Risk Consultant, you will join a growing team of experts in their respective fields, with a view to developing your career as you progress in your position.
