Accounts Assistant 12mth Fixed Term Contract with possibility of Perm This is a lovely role for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant to join a warm, friendly Finance team, under the direction and mentorship of an inspiring Finance Director. * £29,500 * 37.5 hours * Full time office based The Role The Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting the Accountant and the Finance Director in the efficient operation of the organisation’s finances. Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to * Bank and cash reconciliations for different entities * Assistance in cashflow management and the management of the Group’s pre-paid cards * Departmental Budget Monitoring and Reporting * Preparation of ad hoc reports and analyses * General ledger reconciliations, Inter-company cross charging and control account administration * Income stream reconciliation Additional duties may include * Assisting the Accountant in the administration of all aspects of the Group’s day to day accounting and payroll responsibilities * Provide general support and cover for other posts in the Finance Team * Liaise with other departments to ensure completeness and correctness of all information and activities * Deal with incoming and outgoing communications by telephone, email, or post and handle requests for assistance from visitors and staff in a helpful and friendly manner * Carry out general administration duties as specified by the Finance Director and/or the Accountant What you will need * Previous UK experience as an Accounts Assistant * Ideally inter-company reconcilations experience * AAT qualifications would be ideal, but we will consider those qualified by experience * Right to work in the UK If you are an experienced Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant/Administrator looking for your next role, please apply for immediate consideration
