Management Accountant

We are actively recruiting for a job opportunity with an accountancy firm based in Corby, who are looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their team. The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level, so is open within reason. Job Role Description: This is a hands-on role responsible for delivering high-quality management accounting services to a wide range of clients. You will be the main point of contact for your client portfolio, supporting their business operations with accurate and timely financial information. Responsibilities: Preparing monthly or quarterly management accounts Bookkeeping duties including posting invoices and expenses Preparing and submitting VAT returns Managing your own portfolio of clients Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance Use of SAGE 50 accounting software Invoicing and credit control as required Producing cash flow forecasts and budgeting reports Providing financial insight to support client decision-making Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts and working papers Communicating directly with clients to resolve queries Supporting junior staff where applicable Contributing to process improvements and internal reporting Requirements: Previous experience in a management accounting or a general practice role Confident using accounting software, particularly SAGE 50 Willingness to learn and develop within the role Friendly, professional, and client-focused Benefits: Competitive salary in line with market rate 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Company pension scheme Private healthcare insurance after 6-month probation Study support for AAT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA Time off for study and exams Costs of professional qualifications covered Free Parking Great office environment with friendly team
