Finance Assistant Central Glasgow About Our Client: Our city centre client is a leading UK firm looking to add to their finance team and recruit a Permanent Finance Assistant. Main Duties and Responsibilities: The primary purpose of this role is to efficiently process sales ledger transactions that are critical to the finance function. Duties Responsibilities : Process sales ledger transactions promptly and ensure monthly reconciliations Allocate daily cash receipts accurately Oversee the monthly client statement process Prepare weekly sales reports and performance summaries Assist management team with ad-hoc reports. Provide support to the wider finance team as needed Processing invoices Matching cash receipts to invoices Conducting ledger reconciliations Opening and closing job requests Responding to ad-hoc queries and requests Candidate Profile Sought: Experience in processing financial transactions Familiarity with credit control functions Ability to work effectively with colleagues at various levels Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in Excel Resilient, energetic and enthusiastic and professional Quick learner with self-starter qualities, capable of working autonomously or within a team For more information on this opportunity please reach out to laura@wilkinsonandassociates.co.uk
