Maintenance Electrician

A well-established subcontract engineering company based in Witham is looking to expand its team with the addition of an experienced Maintenance Electrician. This is a mobile role, primarily supporting FMCG clients across Essex and the surrounding counties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, preferably within FMCG environments, and hold the 18th Edition qualification. A full UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role. What's on Offer Hourly rate up to £20 per hour, depending on experience and skill level Overtime paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate Paid travel from and to the workshop This is a temporary to permanent position Varied mobile work with a growing and supportive team Key Responsibilities Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs across client sites Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance (PPMs) Carrying out electrical inspections and compliance testing Responding to breakdowns and urgent callouts Assisting with electrical project work and installations Working across a range of fast-paced production environments Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, ideally in FMCG settings 18th Edition wiring regulations certification A full UK driving licence Ability to work independently, manage your time, and adapt to different site environments If you're a skilled Maintenance Electrician looking for a stable, long-term role with great variety and solid earning potential, we'd love to hear from you.
