Job Description
HR / Payroll Specialist Contract Opportunity We are seeking an experienced HR / Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Italian labor law and payroll regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll coordination with our external payroll vendor and providing onsite HR support. This includes verifying payroll inputs, ensuring compliance with Italian labor laws, and collaborating with finance for payroll reconciliation and reporting. In addition to payroll administration, the HR / Payroll Specialist will also provide onsite HR support, including managing archive and document compliance, preparing and issuing employment-related documents, and addressing HR-related questions and fostering positive employee relations. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. 3-5 years of HR experience focused on payroll in Italy. Strong understanding of Italian labor law and payroll regulations. Experience with external payroll providers (e.g., ADP, Zucchetti). Attention to detail and confidentiality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Fluent in Italian and English (mandatory). Proficient in MS Office and HRIS tools (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle).
