Sr. Electrical Engineer - Substations (Utility Scale)

From Grafton Recruitment, we are looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer who is going to contribute directly to the correct design projects' footprint in Europe. This role involves actively participating in the design supervision and creation of large-scale renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on solar PV and onshore wind systems. Responsibilities: Collaborate in the tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) in technical requirements and design. Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with designers (Pre-Executive design and design) and BOP Contractors. Support the quality of services and products provided by external suppliers. Support the definition, preparation and control the documentation to be able to start timely a construction of the renewable energy project. Under coordination with procurement department, to prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding procedure for external suppliers. Support scheduling project steps and works to achieve the most efficient, timely and cost-effective construction of photovoltaic or wind farm. Support the supervision and control that during the design phase the Building Permit requirements are respected. Analise the layouts and reports from the resource department and propose possible upgrades. Support coordinating internal information flow within Development Team, Legal, Procurement, HSE & Quality. Support managing and control of technical /Time Schedule /H&S/Quality issues during design process. Collaborate during construction process and provide solutions to construction design problems appear, in coordination with the BOP company. Qualifications: Engineering background (preferable Electrical Engineer). Minimum 5 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects mainly from PV and wind farm (Utility scale) construction. Familiarity with the components and technical equipment usually installed in large-scale onshore wind, solar PV plants and high voltage lines and substations.
