Quality Control Inspector Salary: £28,000 Benefits Location: Ilminster, Somerset Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00 – 17:00, Fri 08:00 – 14:30 Start Date: Immediate The Company: The company manufacture parts for multiple different industries. Your Role: As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving quality across goods-in and manufacturing. You'll inspect materials, analyze data, and contribute to problem-solving initiatives, ensuring our products meet the highest standards. What You'll Be Doing: Carrying out inspections using various metrology tools, including CMM Investigating product non-conformities and driving timely resolutions Supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D methodology Working closely with manufacturing to ensure quality standards are met Assisting with audits, calibration, and continual improvement projects What We’re Looking For: Manufacturing Quality Control experience Ability to read engineering drawings & use measurement tools CMM/VMM proficiency (essential) Electrical/electronic knowledge (advantageous) A proactive mindset and a commitment to quality What’s On Offer: £28,000 per year Days Monday – Friday, half day on Fridays 25 days holiday statutory holidays Company-wide discretionary bonus Training & development opportunities Life assurance scheme & pension contribution If you are interested, please call Ryan Guy on (phone number removed) or apply online *Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position* *Sponsorship is not available
