Job Title: Assistant Site Manager Location: East Midlands, Derbyshire, Derby Job Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hours Monday to Friday Primary Industry: Construction - New Build Housing / House Building / Residential Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per annum Benefits: Car allowance/company car, fuel allowance, private pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, additional benefits Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence Skills: Traditional house building A prestigious Housing Developer, known in the industry for their high-quality homes, is seeking a permanent Assistant Site Manager to join their team in Derby. The site consists of 100 traditional and bespoke homes. Job Duties: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site Coordinate and manage subcontractors and tradespeople Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site Monitor progress and quality of work on-site Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction activities Required Qualifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) First Aid certification Valid Driving Licence Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of construction processes and working to NHBC Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Working Conditions: This role involves working on a construction site, which may include outdoor work and exposure to various weather conditions.
