CCTV Commissioning Engineer

We’re looking for a detail-driven CCTV Commissioning Engineer to join a highly skilled team delivering integrated security solutions across commercial and industrial projects nationwide. If you have strong commissioning experience and a solid grasp of current CCTV technologies and standards, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Be Doing: Commission and hand over CCTV systems, ensuring functionality aligns with design specifications and drawings Work with a variety of platforms including IP-based, analogue, hybrid, and wireless solutions Integrate CCTV systems with other security systems (e.g., intruder alarms, access control) where required Identify and address project risks or delays, communicating issues proactively Conduct on-site demonstrations and training for end users as part of the handover process Complete all compliance-related documentation and electronic records accurately (via tablet) Ensure all work complies with current industry standards and H&S policies Undertake training to stay current with product updates and regulatory changes Handle and protect sensitive customer data and system information appropriately What You’ll Need: Proven experience in CCTV system commissioning across a variety of commercial/industrial environments Strong knowledge of system design, network configuration, and troubleshooting Familiarity with platforms such as Hikvision, Avigilon, Axis, Dahua, Honeywell, Pelco , etc. Experience in programming and configuring recording, analytics, and remote access settings Understanding of BS EN 62676 and related surveillance standards Good knowledge of health & safety practices and site safety protocols Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and deliver to tight deadlines Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (overnight stays may be required) Why Join Us?
