Commissioning Engineer

We’re looking for a dedicated Fire Systems Engineer to take on installation, commissioning, and maintenance responsibilities across a range of sites and technologies. What You’ll Be Doing: Deliver end-to-end fire alarm system work – from installation to handover Work with a mix of technologies: addressable & non-addressable alarms, air sampling, wireless setups, and more Program cause and effect sequences and tailor systems to each site Carry out client handovers, including on-site walkthroughs and training Supervise contractors where needed ( SSSTS essential ) Ensure all documentation is completed to FIA and BAFE standards Maintain a high level of site safety and compliance Support junior engineers and collaborate closely with internal teams What You’ll Bring: At least 8 years’ experience in the fire alarm industry FIA Advanced & Commissioning qualifications Full understanding of BS5839 Ability to work independently and liaise professionally with clients Certifications: ECS/CSCS , IPAF , Asbestos Awareness , and SSSTS Willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays A positive attitude, pride in your work, and a team-first mindset What You’ll Get in Return: A collaborative, no-nonsense team that respects experience Opportunities to work on a wide range of high-impact projects Career progression and ongoing training support A workplace that puts health, safety, and professionalism first If you're ready to take on technically rewarding work in a team that has your back – get in touch today.
