Private Client Solicitor

THE FIRM A major UK law firm. THE ROLE An opportunity to join a growing, international team, for a Private Client Solicitor with 3-5 years PQE. You will undertake a broad range of private client work predominantly for individuals with international connections, to include advising on pre immigration tax planning, the remittance basis of taxation and statutory resident test, estate planning for non Long Term Resident individuals, global asset structuring, succession planning and family governance for international families, advising on the UK tax treatment of investment in the UK, including UK property holding structures, and advising on all aspects of offshore trust, estate planning and other related tax and fiduciary work. You will be expected to carry out marketing and business development activities to expand the London client base. THE CANDIDATE You will be looking to handle a varied workload of high quality including all aspects of personal tax, lasting powers of attorney, the formation, administration and restructuring of trusts, family investment companies and other onshore and offshore structures for UK tax planning, family and asset protection, together with succession planning for family business owners.
