Automation Engineer – Broughton, Chester (Onsite) 6-Month Contract | Potential Extension or conversion to full time Aerospace Manufacturing | Robotics | Automation | CNC Our client is seeking an entry level Automation Engineer to join a dynamic Manufacturing Technologies Team based in Broughton. If you’re passionate about automation, robotics, and cutting-edge assembly processes within the aerospace sector, this role could be a great fit. Responsibilities: Support and deployment of automated machinery for aircraft wing structures and sub-assemblies Work with a wide range of technologies: Cartesian machines, CNC milling, industrial robots, cobots Define and develop new machinery and automated assembly processes Provide expert-level technical support on cutter/drill/router applications Manage automation projects from concept to delivery Key Skills & Experience: Degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience Strong background in automation and/or robotics Familiarity with drilling, fastening, routering, and milling processes Working knowledge of digital tools and data/statistical analysis (e.g., Minitab, Skywise) Problem-solving ability using structured methods (e.g., PPS) If you're interested, please feel free to send your most recent CV to my email at Ozak@empresaria.com
