Logistics Coordinator

Title: Logistics Coordinator Location: Huddersfield Salary: Circa £33,000 Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering exclusively with a rapidly growing manufacturer based in Huddersfield as they look to recruit a Logistics Coordinator. The business which has recently expanded its operations in Europe, has ambitious plans to double in size over the next couple of years’ and this newly created role will be key in helping the business achieve this. Key duties of the Logistics Coordinator will include: Support Sales with lead time estimates during quoting Ensure Engineering meets deadlines and verify part setup data Support the Supply Chain Manager in procurement and inventory management, ensuring timely material deliveries and accurate stock control via the ERP system Coordinate with the Logistics Manager on domestic and international shipments, including preparation of compliant documentation for the transport of hazardous materials Maintain all material compliance records, including COSHH assessments and Certificates of Analysis, in accordance with regulatory and company standards Ensure full adherence to legislative and procedural requirements for importing, exporting, and storing dangerous goods Accurately record all goods movements through the ERP system to maintain traceability and support audit readiness Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers to ensure smooth, compliant transit of goods across borders Key Skills & Experience required: Experience in a Manufacturing environment / organising transport of dangerous goods Previous European logistics experience SAP experience (desirable) Excellent organisational skills If you would like to discuss this opportunity in more detail, then please get in touch with Lewis at Elevation Recruitment Group now.
