Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Walker Cole International is supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturing business in the North West in their search for an EHS and Occupational Health Manager . This is a key site leadership role, responsible for ensuring full regulatory compliance and driving a proactive safety and wellbeing culture across the organisation. Key Responsibilities for the EHS and Occupational Health Manager: Lead the EHS and Occupational Health teams, ensuring effective delivery of safety, health, and compliance objectives. Oversee the site audit programme and ensure readiness for internal and external inspections. Maintain and develop ISO14001/ISO45001 systems and site-wide compliance processes. Act as the primary advisor to senior stakeholders on EHS and OH strategy, risk, and policy. The successful EHS and Occupational Health Manager candidate will have: Strong experience managing EHS in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, chemical, FMCG). NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, with GradIOSH or TechIOSH membership. Proven leadership capability with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams. A commercial and pragmatic approach to safety management.
