Site Manager

️ Site Manager – Utility Scale Solar (Scotland) Scotland (Travel Required Across Sites – Central Belt Preferred) We’re working closely with a well established renewable energy contractor delivering utility scale solar projects across the UK. As part of their upcoming construction pipeline, we’re supporting them in hiring an experienced Site Manager to oversee large scale, ground mounted solar PV builds across Scotland. This is a critical hire to ensure safe, high quality delivery of multi MW projects on time and within budget, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, site led environment. Your Role Act as the lead representative on site, managing day to day construction and subcontractor activities Oversee civils, piling, racking, panel installation, cabling and commissioning phases Ensure HSE standards are adhered to at all times, create and maintain site specific RAMS Coordinate with project managers, grid engineers, and the client to manage delivery milestones Manage site reporting, materials, toolbox talks, inductions and daily briefings ✅ What You’ll Bring Strong track record managing solar farm construction (ideally 5MW sites) Background in civils, electrical, or renewable energy infrastructure Valid SSSTS/SMSTS , First Aid, and CSCS certification Hands-on approach with the ability to manage subcontractors and deadlines effectively Comfortable working on live construction sites in remote areas (travel required) This business is investing heavily in Scottish clean energy and is seeking someone reliable and solutions focused to lead from the front.
