They're growing steadily and now need an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to take a senior role in the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking the lead on design projects, mentoring junior engineers, and working on heavy machinery. Youll be hands-on from the initial concept stage right through to build and installation giving you full visibility over the design and manufacturing process. What youll be doing: Leading mechanical design projects from start to finish Creating 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks Working closely with production and site teams to ensure smooth build and install Solving engineering problems and improving existing designs Helping guide and support junior designers and apprentices What theyre looking for: Strong background in mechanical design of heavy machinery Proficiency with SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD software) Comfortable working with fabrications, assemblies, and mechanical systems Whats on offer: Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience Flexible working hours Long-term career progression with a stable employer Supportive team culture Want to find out more?
