Financial Accountant

We are delighted to be working with an international Energy business as they look to add an experienced Accountant, with focus on Statutory Accounts prep and preparing full financial statements. ‍ Responsibilities: ‍ Oversee the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality statutory financial statements and audit back-up. Give external auditors information and justifications on the entity's statutory financial statements and the group's financial statements. Exhibit a solid understanding of local laws, appropriate local accounting standards, group accounting policies, and International Financial Reporting Standards. Assist the Internal Audit procedure by offering justifications and data as required. Compliance with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements, ensuring financial controls are addressed within deadlines set Preparation of reconciliations and analysis with relevant and appropriate back up and critical analysis of the balances in significant entities ‍ If you are a PQ/Qualified Accountant curious as to whether this is the role to accelerate your own personal development then I would be keen to hear from you.
