Job description: About the Role As a Skilled CNC Machinist at our Greengate Business Unit, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and control of CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components. Utilizing your expertise, you will perform set-ups, first article inspections, and quality checks, ensuring all parts conform to exacting specifications. You will also have opportunities to develop your technical and leadership capabilities within a dynamic production environment. What We Offer A supportive and safety-focused workplace Shift Allowance Opportunities for personal and career development Competitive compensation and benefits Engagement in varied, high-precision manufacturing tasks Training on advanced CNC technologies and processes Key Responsibilities Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components efficiently and safely Conduct set-up changes, run production, and perform first article inspections Load parts, prove programs, set offsets, edit controls, de-burr and inspect for quality Read and interpret engineering drawings and job orders Monitor and adjust machine operations to maintain precision Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform basic preventative maintenance Comply with all NOV Quality and HSE policies Perform additional duties as required by business needs Required profile: Essential: Time-served apprenticeship in CNC disciplines (City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3) Experience operating various CNC machines Familiarity with high-productivity machine shop environments CNC programming knowledge (Mazatrol and Fanuc controls) Basic computer literacy and HSE awareness Desirable: ONC/HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering Manual machining experience Multi-axis CNC machining expertise Manual handling, slinging, and lifting certification What we offer: At NOV, we are committed to supporting your personal, financial, and professional wellbeing.
