Building Service Engineer

Job Title: Building Services Engineer Location: Heathrow Airport We are currently seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer to manage the maintenance of plant rooms and HVAC systems across a prestigious corporate building at Heathrow Airport. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and manage plant rooms and HVAC systems to the highest standards. Ensure all work-related planned maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. Identify and report any defects, keeping the client informed of site activities. Troubleshoot and understand building management systems (BMS) along with Fan Coil Units (FCUs), Air Handling Units (AHUs), Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, and Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems. Mechanical plumbing experience would be a plus. Participate in the on-call rota and attend to emergencies when needed. Required Qualifications & Skills: Full current driving license. In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and Permits to Work. Ability to perform manual tasks including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to operate a mobile device effectively. Highly self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team. Ideal Candidate Qualifications: C&G Level 3 Heating & Ventilation Mechanical Engineering qualifications. FGAS certification. Experience: Experience in a maintenance/facilities management environment is preferred.
