EEG Technician or Nurse

Job Purpose The primary function of the Technician will be to: To perform repairs on medical devices To perform technical quality control on loan/rental devices returned from patients General office maintenance Qualifications and Competency Criteria Essential: Grade 12 pass Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering would be preferred Job specific in-service training to understand customer needs, and associated products o Proficiency will be determined by both theory test results and practical assessments o Periodic assessments and performance evaluations to assess ongoing competency Experience Previous maintenance/repair experience of medical equipment beneficial Proven experience working with hands Proficiency in Microsoft office suite Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Fluent in English and Afrikaans Valid Code B drivers licence (manual) Own reliable transportation Aptitude for continuous learning Well organised and have a systematic approach to problem solving Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy Deadline Driven Performs well under pressure Ability to work independently without supervision with the ability to take initiative and be proactive
