Job Role: Data Centre Project Architect Location: Central London Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 DOE Aztrum is proud to be partnering with an internationally recognised architectural and BIM consultancy with a strong presence in London and across the globe. With a proven history of delivering over 40 million square feet of developed space, this innovative studio is widely respected for its leadership in complex, technology-focused projects and its commitment to sustainable, BIM-integrated design. As the practice continues to expand its global portfolio of high-performance infrastructure, they are now seeking an experienced and technically astute Project Architect to take a leading role in the design and delivery of mission-critical facilities across the EMEA region. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly collaborative team of Architects, BIM Managers, and Technologists at the forefront of shaping the digital built environment. Key responsibilities for this Project Architect role: • Lead the design and delivery of high-performance data centre projects from early concept through to completion. • Oversee the production of detailed technical documentation and coordinate drawing packages in line with BIM Level 2 standards. • Collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure all design and technical requirements are met. • Apply a deep understanding of mission-critical infrastructure to inform spatial planning, systems integration, and technical detailing. • Drive coordination between architecture and engineering disciplines to optimise performance and buildability. • Support the practice’s commitment to innovation, sustainable design, and high-quality project execution. Key requirements for this Project Architect role: • ARB-registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience. • Proven track record delivering data centre or similarly complex, technically driven projects. • Expertise in Revit and BIM workflows is essential; experience working within ISO 19650 frameworks is highly advantageous. • Strong technical knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methodologies, and procurement processes. • Confident in client-facing roles with strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills. • Ability to manage project programmes, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure design intent is upheld through to construction. • A meticulous, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for advancing innovation in the built environment.
