Job Role: Junior Architectural Technologist Location: Central London Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE Aztrum is proud to be partnering with an internationally recognised architectural and BIM consultancy with a strong presence in London and across the globe. With a proven history of delivering over 40 million square feet of developed space, this innovative studio is widely respected for its leadership in complex, technology-focused projects and its commitment to sustainable, BIM-integrated design. As the practice continues to expand its global portfolio of high-performance infrastructure, they are now seeking a detail-driven and ambitious Junior Architectural Technologist to support the delivery of mission-critical facilities across the EMEA region. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a highly collaborative team of Architects, BIM Managers, and Technologists at the forefront of shaping the digital built environment. Key responsibilities for this Junior Architectural Technologist role: • Assist in the preparation of detailed design and technical drawing packages in support of high-performance data centre projects. • Support BIM coordination and contribute to project documentation in alignment with BIM Level 2 standards. • Work closely with senior team members, consultants, and clients to help meet design and technical objectives. • Apply a developing knowledge of mission-critical infrastructure to assist with spatial layouts and detailing. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated technical delivery. • Champion the studio’s values around innovation, sustainable design, and technical excellence. Key requirements for this Junior Architectural Technologist role: • A degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology (CIAT accreditation preferred). • 1–2 years’ professional experience, ideally with exposure to data centres or complex technical projects. • Strong proficiency in Revit and a solid understanding of BIM workflows; familiarity with ISO 19650 is a plus. • Basic knowledge of UK building regulations and construction processes. • A collaborative team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. • Keen to develop technical expertise and grow within a fast-paced, innovative environment. • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a genuine passion for the built environment and digital design.
