Job Role: Junior Architectural Technician Location: Central London Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE Aztrum is proud to be partnering with an internationally recognised architectural and BIM consultancy with a strong presence in London and across the globe. With a proven history of delivering over 40 million square feet of developed space, this innovative studio is widely respected for its leadership in complex, technology-focused projects and its commitment to sustainable, BIM-integrated design. As the practice continues to expand its global portfolio of high-performance infrastructure, they are now seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Architectural Technician to support the technical delivery of mission-critical facilities across the EMEA region. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop professionally within a highly collaborative team of Architects, BIM Managers, and Technicians at the forefront of shaping the digital built environment. Key responsibilities for this Junior Architectural Technician role: • Assist in producing high-quality technical drawings and construction documentation for data centre and infrastructure projects. • Support the coordination of drawing packages and contribute to BIM workflows in line with Level 2 standards. • Collaborate with senior Technicians and project teams to help realise technical solutions across all project stages. • Apply developing technical knowledge to assist with detailed layouts, component assemblies, and specification work. • Liaise with consultants and contractors to help ensure seamless coordination and delivery. • Contribute to the practice’s ethos of innovation, precision, and sustainability in the built environment. Key requirements for this Junior Architectural Technician role: • A qualification in Architectural Technology, Architectural Drafting, or a related technical discipline. • 1–2 years’ industry experience, ideally involving technical support on data centres or similar complex projects. • Proficient in Revit, with a good understanding of BIM processes; knowledge of ISO 19650 frameworks is beneficial. • Familiarity with UK building regulations, materials, and construction techniques. • A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication and technical problem-solving skills. • Eagerness to learn and grow within a forward-thinking, BIM-led environment. • A focused and thorough approach to technical detail, documentation, and project delivery.
