Warehouse Supervisor

Company established in the household textile industry is looking for a suitable candidate for a Warehouse Supervisor role. Position is based in Jacobs, Durban. Knowledge and abilities: Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Effective team leadership and management abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. Proficient in warehouse management software and systems. Key Responsibilities: Daily Operations: Supervise daily warehouse activities including logistics, stock control, order picking, and shipments. Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage stock movements. Order Fulfilment: Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Process Improvement: Implement efficient warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement. Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and staff performance. Min Requirements: Matric Minimum of 3 years supervising warehouse staff and activities.
