About the Role - Manage and optimize supply chain operations across Calibre Scientific’s UK distribution businesses, overseeing purchasing teams, forecasting, inventory, and supplier performance. This role drives working capital efficiency, improves availability of mission-critical SKUs, and supports system harmonization across locations. Responsibilities : Develop and manage demand planning. Implement inventory optimization strategies. Monitor and improve supplier OTIF and negotiate lower MOQs. Lead cross-site purchasing processes and standardize buying practices. Coordinate with Sales, Service, and Finance to run weekly S&OP. Establish vendor scorecards and supplier performance reviews. Coach and manage a team of buyers across two sites. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field. Full UK Driving License required. APICS CPIM/CSCP or CIPS preferred. Required Skills : Expert level in Microsoft Office, Excel (advanced), and Power BI. ERP experience (SAP ByDesign or SAP Business One preferred). Analytical Thinking and Data Interpretation. Vendor Management and Negotiation. Process Optimization. Team Leadership. Project Management. Cross-functional Collaboration.
