Music Teacher

Location: Reading Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS / UPS An outstanding state grammar school in Reading with a national reputation for musical excellence is seeking an accomplished and passionate Music Teacher to lead classroom teaching from KS3 through to A-Level. The school’s vibrant musical life includes over 30 ensembles and regular performances both locally and on international tours. This post offers the opportunity to direct one or more of the school’s flagship ensembles and to contribute to its flourishing performing arts programme. Facilities include a purpose-built concert hall with professional acoustics, soundproofed practice rooms, recording studios, and computer labs equipped with Sibelius and Logic Pro. Applicants should hold a degree in Music, QTS, and demonstrate experience leading ensembles. Strong keyboard skills and familiarity with music technology are desirable. Enhanced DBS required
