Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer Up to £55,000 Croydon MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join an Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in the Croydon area. This role will involve leading the mechanical maintenance function on site to ensure plant reliability, safety, and performance. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for: Planning and overseeing mechanical maintenance, including shutdowns Managing site workshops, stores, and statutory inspections Leading and developing a team of Mechanical Technicians Supporting contractor management and ensuring compliance with safety systems Driving continuous improvement across maintenance and reliability activities Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering Experience with CMMS and safe systems of work Knowledge of PSSR and mechanical repair techniques Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills Experience managing teams and working with contractors This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business with huge growth potential.
