Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Production Planning Analyst to join our Supply Chain Luxury Goods Division, reporting directly to the Head of Planning. The primary mission is to support the Planning Direction in the development and maintenance of analyses and reports related to production planning. This includes analyzing production plans, aligning them with sales demand, and ensuring product availability in stores, in the right quantities and at the right time, while maintaining company service level goals. The role involves both recurring analysis across business lines and focused deep dives into specific issues. Job responsibilities Collect, cleanse, and analyze large datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Design and implement data mining techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement. Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize key performance indicators and trends. Conduct statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies and initiatives. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations in PowerPoint, summarizing complex data analysis findings and recommendations for executive leadership and other key stakeholders. Update and develop weekly production plan reports, bi-weekly production plans, and monthly board meeting analyses and dashboards. Monitor the impact of raw material delays on finished product availability, collaborating with planning teams across all business lines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (merchandising, product, and regional teams) to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support for various business initiatives. Identify and implement improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and support strategic decision-making. Support the Planning Direction in developing existing projects and new planning tools to support business growth. Profile Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Preferred : 2 years of experience in a consultancy firm or in the Supply chain / Planning department of medium / big companies Professional knowledge of Microsoft office (in particular Excel, Power Point) Knowledge of Power BI Strong analytical skills with attitude to details and critical thinking Great communication and collaboration skills Originally from Trivero in northern Italy, the Loro Piana family began trading wool in the early 1800s.
