Claims Consultant

We are looking for our Italian Claims Team a Claims Consultant who will be responsible for handling, supervising and monitoring of claims of different lines of business, with a focus on Motor. The role requires a understanding of insurance-related legal procedures, Italian regulations and claims processing. YOUR JOB Interact and communicate with outsourcers and other parties involved in claims processing, reviewing provided information regarding the nature of claims and other pertinent facts; Analyze contracts and documentation to determine whether claims are valid based on industry standards and regulations; Review policies and procedures to verify if they are being followed correctly and fairly; Investigate, evaluate and settle claims, applying technical knowledge and negotiation skills to reach fair and prompt claim resolution, develop resolution strategies; Recommend and maintain appropriate reserves; Review insurance claims, identifying errors, and making recommendations for changes; Ensure compliance with claims guidelines, controls and reporting, including adherence to Group guidelines; Support underwriters in products development and pricing; Monitor and analyse KPIs YOUR PROFILE University degree (in law degree will be considered a plus) or equivalent work experience required. 2 years or plus of experience as an insurance claims adjuster or claims examiner. Proficiency with Microsoft software (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power BI) and other relevant computer applications Analytical skills, strategic thinking, and solution-oriented approach Good negotiations and conflict solving skills.
