Job Description
As a member of the Country Management Team, the Finance Manager actively contributes with the General Manager and the Management Team to achieve the short and long-term goals for the company. Main responsibilities Collaborate, influence, and motivate Management Team to achieve financial targets and build long-term strategic plans. Manage, coach, and guide the local Finance team to achieve defined objectives. Plan and organize the Finance function of the company, considering both Group and Local requirements. Safeguard the company’s financial assets and ensure the effective and efficient use of resources. Identify and provide corrective actions for potentially adverse situations; make recommendations and present information for accurate decision-making. Contribute to the definition of macro-objectives within the Finance community and ensure their implementation at the local level. Promote and ensure effective collaboration between the Finance team and other company functions. Manage finance operations including accounting and data processing for reliable, timely administration and reporting, in line with statutory, fiscal, and group requirements. Ensure internal procedures are followed to safeguard assets, including debtor management, stock control, cash management, trade creditors, fixed assets, and adherence to accounting principles. Assist and advise the General Manager on financial and business matters, supporting decision-making with relevant data. Communicate financial goals and targets clearly, and work with management to set cost control and reduction strategies. Participate actively in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, coordinating with stakeholders and consolidating budgets. Manage financing needs and optimize cash management in coordination with Group treasury. Reinforce the effective use of MRP and ERP systems with internal partners. Influence the company's pricing strategies. Work with departmental managers to align financial strategies with business objectives. Manage capital assets in collaboration with Operations, evaluating CAPEX requirements and reviewing IRR for major investments. Minimize spending risks through effective supplier management and competitive quotations. Facilitate team processes and understand the big picture. Demonstrate people leadership and the ability to work with diverse styles and cultures. Experience in leading significant change initiatives within a team. Proven track record in a Finance role, with experience in multinational and large local food industries considered a plus. J-18808-Ljbffr
