Associate Director / VP – Investment Banking

Job Title: Associate Director / VP – Investment Banking Min. Years Experience in IB 7 Location: Cairo, Egypt Job Description: Plays an integral and leading role in all aspects of origination and execution of Investment Banking transactions. This includes: Ability to identify and process new ideas for client pitches Overseeing and setting work plans for junior team members across business development and deal execution related activities Provide full oversight and guidance to the junior team on preparation of detailed financial models for purposes of developing company business plans and forecasts, as well as comprehensive company valuations using various valuation techniques such as discounted cash flows, trading comps, precedent transaction comps, reverse IRR calculations, and LBO analysis Set overall work plans for client mandates, including overseeing production of marketing documents in support of investment banking origination (e.g. pitching for investment banking mandates) and execution (preparation of deal marketing materials such as IMs, Teasers, Offering Memos, etc.) efforts Oversee end-to-end deal execution on live mandates, with full ownership of client deliverables Identify requirements and set plans for production of all transaction-related documents and client presentations, be it on sell side or buy side engagements Actively participate in negotiations and work closely with legal counsel in preparation of M&A related transaction documents such as SPAs, SHAs, etc. Maintain active client relationships and dialogues and be able to develop their own client relationships Lead & coach junior team members and adjust their performance to meet general objectives Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus) Minimum 7 years of relevant financial and analytical experience in Investment Banking or related field Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills Strong written and communication skills with the ability to deliver client presentations with confidence Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner Proven ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and excellent team player with the ability to lead a team of high performing junior bankers Proven experience in managing all day-to-day aspects of transactions Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic Outstanding ethics, integrity, and judgement J-18808-Ljbffr
