Electrical Engineer / Trainee Electrical Engineer Location: Worcester Salary: 28,000 Bonus Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working available We're seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer or Trainee Electrical Engineer to join our specialist Equipment & Machine Build Department. This is a hands-on, diverse role offering opportunities to contribute to the full lifecycle of equipment development - from build and test to service and improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Build and test bespoke equipment to agreed specifications and quality standards * Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and good working practices * Conduct maintenance on in-house equipment, including fire alarm and emergency lighting tests * Support Service Engineers on site visits (UK and overseas) as required * Contribute to the improvement and upgrading of internal equipment and facilities * Assist in the design and feedback process for electrical systems * Maintain and monitor stock levels for electrical components and consumables * Support other departments with tasks, particularly mechanical and maintenance-related, when necessary Ideal Candidate Profile NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certified * Background in industrial equipment or control panel wiring preferred * Strong analytical and fault-finding abilities * Willing and able to travel for work both in the UK and internationally * A proactive, responsible individual who works well under pressure * Confident using Microsoft Office applications * A good team player with clear communication skills * Committed to maintaining a clean and safe working environment What We Offer * Competitive salary with annual bonus * Flexi-time arrangement for improved work-life balance * Opportunities to work on varied and technical projects * Potential for career progression and additional training MAN24
