Overview This position involves all aspects of Engineering Finance, working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting, analyzing data to support business decisions, and developing financial analytics. The role focuses on improving processes, systems, and planning, and collaborates with product management and finance on portfolio management. Responsibilities Support financial reporting and presentations, including Monthly Operating Reviews, budgets, and forecasts. Lead the consolidation of the Long Range Product Plan, Plant, Budget, and Monthly Forecasts. Manage monthly close processes, reconciliation, variance analysis, and journal entries for Engineering. Project tooling cash flow and amortization. Define and communicate financial inputs for business cases and investment proposals. Develop and enhance product portfolio review processes, models, KPIs, and sensitivity analyses. Evaluate product success through metrics, working with cross-functional teams to align strategy and financials. Provide timely and accurate performance analysis to facilitate decision-making. Develop methods for data analysis and maintain financial models for research and decision-making. Identify risks and opportunities within the Engineering Plan. Collaborate with teams to identify improvements and become a business partner within Engineering. Work with other business units to share best practices and understand business impacts on financial performance. Perform ad hoc financial analyses, including NPV and payback calculations. Maintain compliance with accounting policies and GAAP. Skills & Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 4-6 years of experience in Accounting/Finance. Strong analytical, communication, and detail-oriented skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change. Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Access; familiarity with One Stream, Alteryx, Snowflake, etc. is a plus. Proven success in developing tools for financial analysis and working with senior management. Additional Information The pay range in Minnesota is $80,000 to $111,000 annually, with salary determined by various factors. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
