Job Description
Overview Our Client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support their property management finance operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a sound understanding of accounting functions relevant to the property industry. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance advantageous Previous experience within a Property Management, Legal, or Accounting environment Proficiency in PayProp and Xero financial systems Familiarity with other relevant accounting software Strong MS Excel skills Job Responsibilities Process and reconcile rental income and property-related payments Manage accounts receivable and payable Follow up on outstanding tenant payments Assist with monthly landlord statements and remittances Prepare and process supplier invoices and payments Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records Support budgeting and forecasting across the property portfolio Liaise with property administrators to align financial transactions with property activity Call and liaise with stakeholders to resolve account and contract queries Assist with audit preparation and year-end financial documentation Provide general finance and administrative support as required Key Competencies/Skills Good written and verbal communication skills in English High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong work ethic and accountability Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team Practical problem-solving ability
