Senior Accountant

Company: SCTEK Manufacturing Location: Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting Management: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping. 2. Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of local taxes. 3. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial statements and reports to the Taiwan headquarters. 4. Audit and Advisory Coordination: Liaise with local auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with Mexican laws and regulations. 5. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and implement local compliance policies and practices, ensuring alignment with legal and corporate standards. 6. Communication with Headquarters: Maintain effective communication with the Taiwan headquarters to provide updates and align on financial matters. Qualifications: 1. Experience: At least 5 years of accounting, tax, or finance-related experience in Mexico, with exposure to compliance and reporting. 2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus. 3. Skills: ◆ Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations. ◆ Proficiency in preparing financial statements and managing audits. ◆ Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems is highly desirable. ◆ Excellent organizational and analytical skills. 4. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with the Taiwan headquarters.
