Datacom Engineer

This role is responsible for ensuring IP networks and assigned applications operate reliably, providing technical support, and helping maintain critical services. Monitor and ensure the availability and performance of IP networks and related applications. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents affecting routers, switches, and other IP equipment. Perform changes, updates, and improvements to IP network configurations to optimize performance. Provide second- and third-level technical support for internal and external clients. Collaborate with other teams to ensure IP solutions meet requirements for availability, security, and scalability. Knowledge and experience on troubleshooting Data networks, focused on routing and switching technologies for Carrier and Enterprise business Knowledge on dynamic routing protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP Familiar with Network Management systems like U2000/NCE or third party like Orion Network information security troubleshooting and handling of firewalls and security devices Familiar with Enterprise LAN Network design and troubleshoot, experience handling AP and Wifi controllers HCIA/HCIP or CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred. Fluent Communication skills in both English and Spanish, will handle meetings with customer in English. Experience working with Customers
