Position Overview The Project Manager is a key driver of product and technology development, ensuring seamless coordination and execution across the cross-functional Product teams. Throughout the product lifecycle, the Project Manager maintains accountability for meeting critical deadlines, managing dependencies, and facilitating communication between the Product team members. During product development, they oversee the execution of Cespira’s Product Development Process (CPDP) to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes. In production, they take ownership of product change requests, managing them from initiation through successful implementation to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction. Job Requirements What we need: BS in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience preferred. Understanding of APQP preferred. 5 years experience in an engineering environment, preferably in the automotive industry. 3 years experience in project management, PMP certification (or equivalent) an asset. Experience developing products and launching into a production environment. Have proactive planning capabilities along with creative, solutions-oriented approaches to problem solving. Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, fast paced environment. Proactive leader with a high level of autonomy and initiative. Job Responsibilities Project Management: Own the cross functional execution schedule for the assigned Product(s) and lead the planning, execution and coordination of all activities. Facilitate communication between product team members and other departments, ensuring everyone is aligned on key objectives. Escalate issues to Product Manager that cannot be resolved. Secure required resources to execute all work within the Product team(s). Provide administrative support to the Product Team, such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and organizing resources. Work closely with the Program Team and Product Manager to ensure key customer deliverables related to their Product are understood and any risks or delays are communicated in a timely manner. Ensure the adherence to Cespira’s PDP and TDP processes and standards. Develop and maintain a global Product risk register and initiate proactive mitigation strategies as required. Coordinate and manage the ordering and tracking of prototypes across all projects. Work with Program team to quote new development work related to their Product. Support the Program Manager with budget forecasting and planning. Capture and share lessons learned. Change Management: Manage all product change requests, from initiation to implementation. Lead the Product Teams in formulating the proposed changes, impact assessment and implementation plan. Support the quoting and execution of customer PCR’s specific to their Product. Product Planning: Support the Product Manager to create and manage product roadmaps. Support the Product Manager with ongoing business case evaluation of the Product. J-18808-Ljbffr
