The Opportunity | Vice President, Business Development - BFSI We seek a dynamic, results-driven individual to lead our Business Development efforts in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) Vertical. This senior role involves driving growth, expanding our client base, and building relationships with key BFSI industry stakeholders. The Responsibilities Develop strategic plans for the BFSI Vertical, including analysis of strengths & weaknesses, competitive analysis, account penetration strategies, and GTM planning. Support strategic meetings with executives and C-suite leaders, building contacts and advocates within the region and functions. Manage multiple channel selling strategies : relationship, solution, consultative, social, and added-value selling during sales cycles. Act as a trusted BFSI advisor for clients & prospects, attending events, raising awareness, and developing the Teleperformance value proposition. Secure sales accounts / logos aligning with TP’s commercial guidelines (GM%). Drive digital transformation in the vertical, ensuring all proposals include digital transformation components. Consult on business trends to develop new sales services, products, and channels (thought leadership). Support BFSI vertical through best practice documentation, sharing, and quality control. Create and update key targets within the Italian BFSI region. Manage relationships with local, regional, and global operations / marketing, sharing insights and knowledge. The Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field. Master’s Degree (MBA) preferred, especially in finance, strategy, or international business. 8 years of professional experience in BFSI or related domain. Proven success in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in BFSI. Experience in BPO or consulting services. Adaptability to market changes and emerging technologies. Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
