About the role In this role, you will be placed within the Process development Unit, occupying the position of laboratory technician. You will mainly participate and contribute to formulation development projects in the field of lyophilisation of veterinary immunological products; you will also be involved in the development of new production processes and analytical tests of veterinary vaccines, as well as in the improvement of existing processes and tests, under the supervision of the project manager. Research projects include several areas of expertise, including virology, cell biology, serology, microbiology, formulation and molecular biology. Main responsibilities: Develop, plan and execute lyophilisation and formulation tests of immunological products, both for new vaccines and existing productions Plan and perform laboratory tests and biological/pharmaceutical analyses in collaboration with the project manager Prepare, develop and validate new production processes (viral/bacterial production) Prepare, develop and validate new analysis methods Optimise and improve existing production processes Draw up and execute experimental protocols and study reports in collaboration with the project manager Run the laboratory in cooperation with departmental staff Profile and skills: Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in scientific discipline Previous experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical company Previous experience in production process development and analytical testing Knowledge of GMP Good organisational and communication skills, with the ability to easily relate to colleagues in an international environment Strong problem solving orientation and ability to learn and apply new concepts Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken Ability to research and understand scientific literature Will be considered a plus: Experience in the use and maintenance of pilot and/or industrial freeze-dryers Experience in the use and maintenance of pilot and/or industrial turbo-emulsor Previous experience in the field of animal health Experience in industrial process development for vaccines in the veterinary/human field Experience in analytical validation of methods Salary package: Based on skills and experience in line with the National Collective Agreement for the Chemical Industry ( CCNL Industria Chimica ) What does Vaxxinova offer you?
