To expand this structure, we are looking for a Back-end Software Developer for our offices in Brescia, Costa Volpino, or Milan. The Software Developer plays a key role in this international project, involved in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software systems. He/she is responsible for creating specialized, high-quality software for CGM clients. The Software Developer is responsible for the entire development process of software programs, participating in design and refinement meetings to develop, test, and debug programs to meet business needs. He/she relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, with good knowledge of standards, concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience with Agile frameworks and popular programming languages is essential. Goals of the Job The aim of the Software Developer is to ensure the architecture, design, development, and implementation of innovative software programs, following CGM guidelines and collaborating with international teams. Tasks and Responsibilities Participate in Agile processes and manage assigned tasks. Report to the Agile Master and Product Owner within Agile frameworks. Deliver clean, high-quality, high-performance code meeting all requirements. Support the Project Manager/Product Owner, Software Architect, and Development Team Leader. Test and verify code. Provide feedback to the Product Manager/Product Owner regarding critical requirements. Prepare technical documentation. Verify and validate source code. Perform peer reviews. Input Requirements from specifications and product backlog. Requirements from product maintenance and SLAs. Requirements, rules, and guidelines from supervisors and team leaders. Output Documentation. Source code that meets all specifications and requirements (clean code, documentation, check-in policies). Must-Have Skills Java/Kotlin software development with excellent design and clean code principles (5 years). .NET development with good design skills is a plus. Experience designing and developing service-oriented architectures using microservices. Experience implementing APIs (e.g., RESTful, SOAP). Experience with relational databases. Knowledge of Linux and Shell scripting is a plus. Knowledge of cryptography on smart cards, digital certificates, and signatures. Knowledge of managing JKS, Keytool, OpenSSL. Aptitude to learn new RAD programming languages influenced by Java and .NET architecture. Fluent in English; German is a plus. Required Profile Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment. BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Analytical mind and problem-solving skills. The research is aimed at candidates of both sexes (Law 903/77).
