The Nokia IP / Optical Network Business Group seeks a talented Optical Network Training & Certification professional to contribute to Nokia’s Optical Network Learning and Certification (ONC) Program. The Nokia ONC program is designed to provide industry professionals with the training and skills needed to design, implement, manage, maintain, and automate optical networks mainly based on the Nokia 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) and Network Functions Manager for Transport (NFM-T). What you will learn and contribute to As an Optical Network Training & Certification professional you will play a key role in the creation and delivery of leading-edge training material such as courses, exams, exam preparation tools and self-paced learning assets that will increase the level of Nokia Optical technical expertise. This role involves developing both fundamental and more advanced educational material for the ONC Program. Creation of needs assessments Definition of detailed learning objectives Development of course content, instructor guides and lab guides Definition of course and lab exam requirements Definition of instructor certification requirements Development of written and practical certification exams Definition of exam grading criteria Participation at external facing events delivering workshops, seminars, etc. Delivery of classes to various audiences globally Your skills and experience You have : Master's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience 7 - 10 year experience in an Optical network technical support, R&D, PLM, Professional Services or equivalent role A minimum of 5 year experience with educational content development Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required. It would be nice if you also had : A Nokia Optical certification such as the ONP, ONSE, ONDE or ONA or other industry recognized Optical certifications.
