About the job The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer develops Tether's open-source toolkit for self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. Responsibilities include technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is a plus. Responsibilities Contribute to innovative projects using agile methods and new technologies. Ensure backend responsiveness and scalability to support growth. Maintain high security standards to protect assets and data. Experience in building or integrating crypto wallets for DeFi/blockchain, modular architecture, complex platform/API development, quick learning, and security best practices are required. Nice to have Experience with high-availability systems, programming in Go, Rust, or C++, message queues, caches, job queues, mobile development in React Native, Flutter, or native platforms.
